Unlucky timing. I received a monitor alert this afternoon for a server
of mine which is in the same RapidSwitch data centre. They're still
sorting out the repercussions of a router upgrade that went wrong last
night. "Small outages of less than 5 minutes may still be experienced
by individual subnets as final configuration work is completed."

Then I will contact lug.org.uk to find out if they can take over domain
registrations. That's not mentioned on their website so it may not be a
possibility after all.

On horsten.com yes, but we were checking the CLUG domains, and your
contact details are hidden on the whois records.

With hindsight it is strange that there was so much confusion and its
taken so long to get to this point. I spent a lot of time trawling
through mail archives trying to find out who to contact. There are a
lot of messages and a lot of rumours from a lot of people coming and
going. Anyway, now we know :)
Thanks,
Julian
