Yes, I agree. Thunderbird is rubbish, and I'm also a user. Why do I
feel like in some sort of AA-but-for-thunderbird-users meeting?
I just found https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/4455
but I haven't tried it myself yet. Rather depressing that there's
been a request for such a feature for 5 years.

In my mind it also lacks another important feature: Gnome-ification :-)
