Sometimes I feel the same way as you, sometimes I don't.
If you were new to Cambridge then a LUG meetup would be a good way of meeting
like-minded people. And so on.
While in Cambridge I felt that I spent quite enough time down the pub talking
about Linux and computers in general already thankyou very much. But if there
were a LUG group where I live now I think I'd be along like a shot.
