Paul,

Many thanks for the reply. No, pdftotext is not what I am looking
for. I want a ps or pdf console viewer to see the output from Lout
(which is postscript). I have the text - I wrote it :) The laptop I am
using works very nicely in the console but creeks a little too much
for me under X.
