Many of you might remember that last September Robert Schumann organised
a stall in the market square to help promote free software on software
freedom day (www.softwarefreedomday.org).
I was happy to see that on their website he has announced that he will
be doing the same thing again this year:

I may have missed it but I don't remember seeing an announcement about
this on this list.
Robert - hopefully you're still reading this list as I've lost your
email from last year. Any chance you could let us know what you already
have planned for this event, and what help any of us can offer?
Personally I though last year's event was a big success and that people
were very receptive to the free software message. I was also surprised
at the number of people who had already heard about linux and were keen
to learn more.
TTFN
Simon.
